What is Rule 17 A ?

If you are a son/daughter of a deceased civil servant. Your father or mother was working in a Government department and he/she died during service then you will get 10 marks. 10 marks, a lot of marks my dear. Don't miss the chance.

How to Getting Rule 17A 10 Marks

Attach your deceased parent's service book and obituary form. Obituary form is a form given to your by the The government of Punjab after your parent's death. You can find it in the school where your parents worked. Then you need a death certificate of your parents. And oath form worth 100 Rupees in which you have to confess that;

I, ____________, S/o __________ (late) take on oath that, 
I am the legal child of __________, Headmaster Govt. High school. 
That, _________ was a civil servant of Grade ____ in ______________.
That __________ died during service on ___________. 
That, before me, no brother or sister got the benefit of 17 A. 

(Then write down your brother and sister name with CNIC #)

That's how you will create an oath form duly signed by oath commissioner of your tehsil. Also called Ashtaam in Urdu language. Attach these documents with Educator form and submit it separately. Remember, 17A files are collected separately in the office. Don't mix them with Open merit files. After that, You will be granted 10 Marks in addition.
